The babies

I treat the animals like they are my children. We ha a billion pictures of them and most of what they do is so cute. The more comfortable they all get with eachother, the better the pictures are getting. I know that Kitty Kitty was not a fan of Mini when she arrived, but they seem to have adjusted nicely. An Yellow is no longer terrified of Mini, who is getting big from what I am told. I don't really notice until I wake up with her standing on me. She is definately bigger than when she arrived. It has been about 2 months, so I would say great progress.

Nick's Birthday Gathering

We had a small Birthday party for Nick this year. It was actually quite nice, and I guess that is what happens when you get older. He turned 27 this year and is on the down hill slide to 30. Which is crazy becuase for the most part we still see ourselves as the 20 years olds, with less street racing on weekends. I like to look back and see where our journey has brought us, we are two completely different people then we were then, but definately for the better. Nick is spoiled as always and got his PS3 as a combo present, seeing as his birthday is only 10 days before Christmas. The rest of his presents would be what I would classify as grown up presents. He got tabs for the car, and I think bullets from his dad, but I am not really sure. I know the present he is most excited about it the one that awaits him in Kent.

This is the 1st Christmas, in I honetly don't know how long, that Nick will be with his mom on Christmas day. We are leaving here Christmas afternoon, for what will most likely be an interesting drive over the pass. It should be very relaxing once we get there, the only thing I will miss will be my girls. They hate when we leave, but I know Grandma and Grandpa and Aunt Angie will take great care of them.

Stitches Out

I go this afternoon to get my stitches out. I am ready for them to not get caught on my pants and be able to soak my leg again.

One week later

Everything is going better than I could have expected. It has only been a week since my surgery and you can only tell by the stitches still in my knee. I even went to the gym yesterday. I am thankful to be done with pain.
We are looking forward to hosting Thanksgiving at our house next week. Today is the one year mark for being in our home with our furry family. This has totally been the year of change.

Knee Surgery

I had knee surgery on Thursday the 13th of November. I went well and did not hurt as much as I had expected. I don't really know what the pictures to the left are, except the inside of my right knee. All is healing well, I was really excited to shower today, but now am really sleepy. My body is still trying to recover, and I am trying to push forwards. All should be back to normal soon. I get my stiches out next week.

Beautiful Surgery Flower

These are the gorgeous flowers that Lo had devilvered to my house on Saturday because she
could not be there herself. Thank you Lo, and Love you too
These flowers were from the hospital staff and my surgeon. They were great! We had to put them up because Kitty Kitty thought they were a treat for him. He is a weird animal too.

The Girls

So TiAL is crazy and can not get the dot off her brain. We are on our second laser pointer pen because if you turn it on, she stares at you until you play again. She has the best personality ever and speaks her mind. If you continue to ignore her, she will move in front of the TV and speak louder. She is addicted. Thanks GMa Cindy
Tein loves the kitties and was so excited when Mini Kitty let her snuggle. We were all getting ready for bed, and Yellow has to be in daddy's spot until he comes to bed, and this time Mini was there to share.

Caution Crispy Cooper Ahead

Caution: Mini Coopers may spontaneously ignite when in stressful situations.
This was the scene on our way home from Seattle last weekend. Traffic was at a dead stop only to find the crispy cooper a few miles ahead.
We had a wonderful trip to Seattle. It was great to get away and relax. Cindy and I shopped until we dropped literally. We had great food and fun times. Hopefully the weather will be mild this winter to make traveling possible.

Animals

Kitty Kitty is not the most photogenic or even happy about being distrubed during one of his many naps in the man room. He is severly out numbered. 2 Boys and 4 Girls.

Animals Hanging at Home

Mini Kitty has certainly made herself at home. She has quickly become one of the family. She has brought out Kitty Kitty's playful side, and Tein's curiosity. She is very entertaining.

Halloween

We had a small Halloween get together at our house on Friday. It was super fun, and was great that Angie is back to celebrate with. The costumes were simple but it was a really good time. We had trick or treaters for the first time ever and the girls were very unsure of why people were at our door. They did very well with the small children though.

We took most of the weekend to recover, I think this is how we know we are getting old.

Pumpkin Time

Nick took a lot of time on his pumpkin, and still has one to come. I on the other hand, got bored after my first one (the stars) and hence the messy 678. This is a yearly tradition, we are the only family on th block with pumpkins, and one of the only families with no children to carve their own. No one set an age limit that I am aware of.
